Glyn T Jones Photography Photographs beautiful Halesowen wedding.
Glyn T Jones Photography yesterday had the pleasure of being the wedding photographer for Jonathan and Emma on their wedding day. We even managed to avoid the rain and take advantage of the best of the days weather.
We arrived at the Halesowen, West Midlands home of Emma, our brides parents to photograph the three page boys and the bridesmaid once they were all suited and booted in their lovely wedding outfits. Emma had also requested that we photograph her on the doorstep of the house with her father as they left, as this was a tradition that the family had used for the other daughters weddings. Once these wedding photographs had been taken, we headed over to Lye Stourbridge to Bethal Chapel where the wedding ceremony was to take place.
Upon arriving at the chapel, a beautiful little church, we found Jonathan along with his best man Carl with neither showing any sign of nerves. We photographed the pair on the doorstep to the church in both traditional wedding photography style and also some more unique fun styles. Time was getting on and it was now time for Emma to arrive and so the groom along with the rest of the congregation moved inside of the church.
A huge twin axle stretch Hummer limousine arrived bringing members of the bridal party who then stood awaiting Emma. In the near distance we could hear the sound of horses hoofs trotting, as Emma came into sight along with her father in a stunning horse-drawn carriage that was being pulled along by two beautiful white horses. This was Jonathans surprise to Emma as she had said she always dreamt of a horse-drawn carriage for her wedding day. This beautiful scene made for some truly stunning wedding photography before Emma entered the church.
The wedding service went very well, and was lead by Jill, the vicar for the ceremony, who had a very relaxed approach to the way the proceedings could be photographed. She allowed us to shoot images throughout the service even using our flashguns when needed.
Once the service was over we headed into the back of the church for the signing of the register where once again our vicar was very relaxed with her rules on photography. She stated that it was the couples day, not hers and so should be photographed to best remember the day for the newlyweds.
The whole party then moved outside for the formal wedding photography to take place. Once this was photographed the party then moved onto the reception venue, Wilson Hall back in Halesowen West Midlands. This then left us alone with Jonathan and Emma to photograph them enjoying the moment and the intimacy of each others company, of course the stunning horses and carriage featured heavily in these wedding photographs as this was all part of Emmas dream wedding.
The newlyweds then boarded the carriage for their journey to the Halesowen reception venue to be greeted by their friends and family. This is where they enjoyed the evening and got the party started in traditional wedding reception style by taking to the floor to perform the fist dance together as a married couple before the guests partied hard late into the night.
Glyn T Jones Photography would like to thank Jonathan and Emma for choosing us to be their Staffordshire and West Midlands Wedding Photographer for their special day, helping them to capture memories for them to share together forever. We would also like to wish them a very healthy, happy and long future together.
Congratulations Jonathan and Emma!
