Cannock Wedding of Mr & Mrs Hardware (Phil & Zoe)

The Chase Golf Club Cannock Staffordshire wedding of Phil and Zoe.

Glyn T Jones Photography  yesterday had the great pleasure of shooting the Cannock Wedding Photography for Phil and Zoe on their wedding day at The Chase Golf Club set on the edge of Cannock Chase.

We arrived at Cannocks stunning wedding venue to await the arrival of the groom, Phil, and his two best men along with his four ushers. Phil and his groomsmen arrived bang on time, Phil was looking very nervous, his best men even more so. We put the groomsmen at ease before starting the wedding photography. We photographed the group both outside the wedding venue and also beside the beautiful tree-lined lake that makes up part of the golf course. We had used this location before for Cannock wedding photography  and so knew that this location makes for stunning wedding photographs.

A coach soon arrived carrying many of the guests for the days wedding ceremony. This was now our time to photograph the six bridesmaids who all looked stunning in their matching white and gold dresses, and the page-boy who looked equally as smart dressed up in a waistcoat.

Once all the guests had been ushered inside the Cedar Suite where the wedding ceremony was to take place we awaited the arrival of the bride Zoe. Before long a silver Jaguar wedding car arrived carrying Zoe and her father Cliff. Zoe emerged from the car looking truly beautiful in her gorgeous antique coloured wedding dress, we spent some time photographing Zoe, along with her father and the bridesmaids before they all entered into the venue.

The wedding ceremony went perfectly eagerly watched by the couples friends and family who all seemed to enjoy the occasion. The registrar had given her permission for us  to photograph throughout the ceremony, this is always nice and allows us to capture more wedding photographs for the happy couple to enjoy.

With Phil and Zoe now officially Mr and Mrs Hardware the whole congregation moved outside sipping on bucks fizz while congratulating the newlyweds. We again used the stunning scenery at The Chase Golf Club to capture all of the traditional wedding photography including all the family group shots, and of course the confetti throwing tradition. Phil and Zoe received a very heavy showering of confetti, as well as having handfuls posted in various locations of their clothing. We now spent a while with the newlyweds shooting more relaxed informal wedding photography both serious portraits and more fun comedy photographs, both out on the golf course and also inside the wedding venue.

The time for the wedding breakfast soon arrived and so the new Mr & Mrs Hardware were formally introduced to their guests before the speeches began and they were served their food.

Glyn T Jones Photography then returned to the venue in the evening to photograph the cake cutting ceremony and also Phil and Zoe as they performed the official first dance together. Once this was over we finished the wedding photography so we left as the party was getting into full swing.

We would like to thank Phil and Zoe for choosing us to be their Staffordshire wedding photographers and for allowing us to share with them their special day.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish them both a very long, healthy and happy life together as man and wife.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Hardware!

West Midlands wedding of the new Mr & Mrs Westwood (Jonathan & Emma)

Glyn T Jones Photography Photographs beautiful Halesowen wedding.

Glyn T Jones Photography  yesterday had the pleasure of being the wedding photographer for Jonathan and Emma on their wedding day. We even managed to avoid the rain and take advantage of the best of the days weather.

We arrived at the Halesowen, West Midlands home of Emma, our brides parents to photograph the three page boys and the bridesmaid once they were all suited and booted in their lovely wedding outfits. Emma had also requested that we photograph her on the doorstep of the house with her father as they left, as this was a tradition that the family had used for the other daughters weddings. Once these wedding photographs  had been taken, we headed over to Lye Stourbridge to Bethal Chapel where the wedding ceremony was to take place.

Upon arriving at the chapel, a beautiful little church, we found Jonathan along with his best man Carl with neither showing any sign of nerves. We photographed the pair on the doorstep to the church in both traditional wedding photography style and also some more unique fun styles.  Time was getting on and it was now time for Emma to arrive and so the groom along with the rest of the congregation moved inside of the church.

A huge twin axle stretch Hummer limousine arrived bringing members of the bridal party who then stood awaiting Emma. In the near distance we could hear the sound of horses hoofs trotting, as Emma came into sight along with her father in a stunning horse-drawn carriage that was being pulled along by two beautiful white horses. This was Jonathans surprise to Emma as she had said she always dreamt of a horse-drawn carriage for her wedding day. This beautiful scene made for some truly stunning wedding photography before Emma entered the church.

The wedding service went very well, and was lead by Jill, the vicar for the ceremony, who had a very relaxed approach to the way the proceedings could be photographed. She allowed us to shoot images throughout the service even using our flashguns when needed.

Once the service was over we headed into the back of the church for the signing of the register where once again our vicar was very relaxed with her rules on photography. She stated that it was the couples day, not hers and so should be photographed to best remember the day for the newlyweds.

The whole party then moved outside for the formal wedding photography to take place. Once this was photographed the party then moved onto the reception venue, Wilson Hall back in Halesowen West Midlands. This then left us alone with Jonathan and Emma to photograph them enjoying the moment and the intimacy of each others company, of course the stunning horses and carriage featured heavily in these wedding photographs as this was all part of Emmas dream wedding.

The newlyweds then boarded the carriage for their journey to the Halesowen reception venue to be greeted by their friends and family. This is where they enjoyed the evening and got the party started in traditional wedding reception style by taking to the floor to perform the fist dance together as a married couple before the guests partied hard late into the night.

Glyn T Jones Photography would like to thank Jonathan and Emma for choosing us to be their Staffordshire and West Midlands Wedding Photographer for their special day, helping them to capture memories for them to share together forever. We would also like to wish them a very healthy, happy and long future together.

Congratulations Jonathan and Emma!

Dudley Quality Hotel Wedding Event very busy

Quality Hotel Dudley hosts a very successful Wedding Fayre in the heart of the West Midlands.

Glyn T Jones Photography spent Sunday exhibiting our wedding photography  at the very successful wedding fayre held at The Quality Hotel on the Birmingham Road Dudley, right in the heart of the black country. We shared the event with two other West Midlands Wedding Photographers  as well as various florists and bridal room decorators with hundreds of balloons. The wedding fayre was very well attended, with a steady stream of couples coming through the door looking to plan their perfect wedding day.

We had the pleasure of talking to many people while they looked through our Mario Acerboni wedding albums containing many of our wedding photographs from the various weddings that we have been chosen as the wedding photographer by the loving couples, to provide their important memories of their big day. We were very surprised that many of the couples we spoken to were not from the black country, but had travelled over to the event from Staffordshire, and even as far afield as Telford in Shropshire. As we were the only staffordshire wedding photographer  exhibiting I think this played in our favour, as we are more local to the wedding venues chosen.

We would like to thank the hotel for organising and advertising the wedding fayre to make it such a success, we will see you at your next event, we also thank the many people who came to visit the show and hope you all got some ideas and inspiration for your own wedding day.

Birmingham Registry Office Wedding of Mr & Mrs Phillips (Johnathan & Kathy)

Congratulations Johnathan and Kathy on your Birmingham, West Midlands Wedding Day

Glyn T Jones Photography  have today been photographing the wedding of Johnathan and Kathy held at Birmingham Registry Office located just off the famous Broad Street in Birmingham City Centre. The reception that followed was held at the Sutton Park Carvery, just inside the Sutton Park Town Gate.

The newlyweds had booked Glyn T Jones Photography to be the wedding photographers for their big day In February of this year after searching through the websites of a lot of Staffordshire Wedding Photographers.

We arrived this morning at the Kingstanding home of Kathys parents to be made to feel very welcome. Linda the mother of the bride to be made us a drink as they all finished preparing for the day. Shortly after our arrival, kathys stunning wedding car arrived outside, a gleaming white vintage 1934 Rolls Royce! We took this opportunity to capture some beautiful pre wedding photographs of Kathys parents and close family with such a unique piece of motoring history.

We now moved into Birmingham city centre to meet Johnathan along with his best man Akeem at Birminghams Registry Office. Once all the grooms mens wedding photographs had been taken outside the wedding venue, they all headed inside while we awaited the glorious sight of the old Roller arriving. Kathy emerged along with her father, and so we used the lovely car as a backdrop to take the traditional wedding photographs of the bride prior to getting married as she enjoyed the moment with close family and friends.

Once the service was over we all ventured into the registry office courtyard to spend some time with the newlyweds and their congregation of guests while photographing many wedding images. We then spent some time alone with Johnathan and Kathy on one of the many local canals to get them some more relaxed portrait photos of them enjoying the quiet spell in the middle of a hectic day, and of course enjoying each others loving company.

We all now moved over to the nearby Sutton Park where the guests were to be treated to a carvery style wedding Breakfast.

Johnathan and Kathy had asked for more wedding photographs to be taken here as it was too much of an idyllic location to not take full advantage of. We then left as all the guests were about to sit down for their meal, and to enjoy the rest of the wedding day and evening.

Glyn T Jones Photography would like to take this chance to wish Johnathan and Kathy a very long and healthy life together as man and wife, and also to thank them for choosing us to be their wedding photographers  on their big day.

Great Turn out for the Murad Banqueting Suite Walsall Wedding Fayre

Walsall West Midlands Wedding Fayre a Roaring Success

Glyn T Jones Photography  spent  Sunday exhibiting our wedding photography  services at the Brand New Murad Banqueting Suite located on Stafford Street Walsall West Midlands. This was the first wedding fayre organised by Danis Wedding Party Angels, and what an amazing success it was. This was, by far, the busiest wedding fayre that we have exhibited at, I would estimate that there were several hundred people through the door!

We at Glyn T Jones Photography met with, and spoke to many couples looking for a wedding photographer  to cover their wedding days all around Staffordshire and the West Midlands. We are excited by the prospect of some of the churches and venues that we might have the pleasure of capturing wedding images  at in the near future. We look forward to the next contact from the many people that we spoke to, and who took advantage of our free, no obligation visits to again view our samples and discuss their wedding requirements in the comfort of their own homes.

For those that missed us, we will again be showing off our wedding photography  work next Sunday 24th June 2012 at the Quality Hotel Dudley Wedding Fayre. This stunning wedding venue is located on the Birmingham Road just outside Dudley town centre. If the last wedding fayre that we attended at this venue is anything to go by this will be another busy and well organised event. As usual we will have a wide range of Mario Acerboni wedding albums packed full of samples of our recent wedding photography  work to be viewed. We look forward to meeting many more loving couples planning their wedding, to discuss how Glyn T Jones Photography  can help make your wedding day memories something very special. Your memories are our expertise!

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Barnes (Lee & Ann) on your Sutton Coldfield Wedding

Mr & Mrs Barnes wedding at The Ramada Hotel Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham West Midlands.

Glyn T Jones Photography   had a great time on Saturday photographing Lee and Ann who had chosen us to be their wedding photographer for their wedding day.

Ann had arranged, unknown to Lee, for the A Team van to pick him and the other grooms men up to bring them to the Ramada Hotel in Sutton Coldfield West Midlands for the wedding ceremony. We knew about this surprise beforehand and so were really looking forward to his arrival.

We arrived at the hotel at around 10am and found our way to the suite that Ann had stayed in the previous night, and was also using for her, and her bridesmaids preparation for the wedding. We used this opportunity to take some pre-wedding photographs of Ann enjoying having her hair, make up and nails done ready for her big day. We then headed to the reception room of the hotel that had been laid up earlier so we could photograph the table settings and the top table decorations as Ann had requested at one of our pre-wedding meetings.

It was now time for Lee to arrive, and so we waited at the front entrance to the hotel. Before long we could hear in the distance the famous A Team theme music playing very loud. Sure enough the perfect replica to the infamous A Team van arrived with spotlights glaring and the music still pumping out of the vans P.A system. The driver opened the side door and Lee and his fellow grooms men jumped out of the door in true A Team fashion. We then had some real good fun photographing Lee and his party in some very unusual and unique wedding photographs with the van.  Lee was a really good sport and needed no encouragement at all to pose in many various ways with the van.

We now returned again to Anns suite to take some more pre-wedding photographs of Ann, who was now in her wedding dress and very tearful. This also allowed us to take some lovely candid shots of the bridesmaids being laced into their beautiful blue dresses.

It was now approaching 1pm, the time for the civil wedding ceremony, so we positioned ourselves in the wedding room for the brides arrival with her father to give her away. The music started and Ann arrived at the far end of the red carpet walkway, looking absolutely stunning with her very proud father on her arm. Ann walked the red carpet to meet Lee at the altar set in front of a huge stained glass window ready for the wedding to get underway. Lee and Ann had written their own wedding vows and had the whole congregation, the registrar included, in stitches. This was a real good fun wedding ceremony!

After the wedding service we managed to avoid the downpours of rain to get outside into the beautiful hotel grounds for all the formal wedding photography to take place. Again the whole theme of these wedding photographs revolved around a relaxed and fun theme. The whole bridal party and guests were now treated to a three course wedding breakfast, so we slipped away to prepare ourselves for returning in the evening with our mobile photography studio. Ann had requested that we set the studio up in the room of the reception as she wanted studio style portrait photography of some of the newlyweds guests that couldn’t make the daytime ceremony. With all these photographs taken, it was soon time for Lee and Ann to have their first dance as a married couple, and also the traditional cutting of the wedding cake ceremony which we photographed for inclusion into the photo proof book to be chosen by the newlyweds once they return from honeymoon. As we left the party was getting into full swing with al the guests ready to dance and party into the small hours.
